Whilst nestled among the hills, the Birds Land course is surprisingly flat and takes in views of the lake, eucalypts and surrounding farmland.

This race is billed as the Family Feud, in which pairs of family members battle for the perpetual shield.

In 2016 there will also be a race for the juniors comprising the roughly 1km lap around the lake.
