Sorry to my team for not being able to attend the relay. Hurt my neck while getting dressed and wasnt even able to drive!! (No I didnt get a viagra tablet stuck in my throat resulting in a stiff neck!!!) Sincere aPPologies to Mark Obrian who must have been cursng any runners who did not turn uP. This was my favorate race last year and I hoPe it remains a regular event. Greg

A stiff neck hey Greg. Mmmm. That sounds a bit like "the dog ate my homework". Not sure how that should be treated Greg - maybe not with the ice pack.

Given my services had already been snapped up by Team Codger, Treasurer Bence ably stepped in from the interchange bench to fill in. Teanm captain Jimmy B. was a bit disappointed his Gun ruckman wasn't available.

Congrats to all who took part and helped out, especially Doona and Bence for marking out the course. A special mention to Ellie Tossol for standing up so brilliantly after her old man hung her out to dry by running her last.

I'm back to the couch to continue the recovery process. Hopefully the achillies will be good to go by next year's event.
